Field directions can be reversed by reversing the ferrite slab magnets and current direction can be reversed by reversing the leads.
The Demonstration Electric Motor is a ready built fully functional unit showing all the essential features of a simple motor as taught in the KS4 syllabus.
Requires DC voltage in the range 1.5V – 6V.
A single rectangular coil rotates in a linear magnetic field with a simple commutator and brush arrangement.
